Welcome to the Divine Lashes Affiliate Program. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our program and create a legal agreement between Divine Lashes (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) and you (“Affiliate,” or “you”).
By signing up, you agree to the following:
1. Eligibility
We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at our discretion. Affiliates must provide accurate and complete information.
2. Referral Tracking & Cookies
- Tracking: We use cookies to track referrals. When a customer clicks your unique affiliate link, a cookie is placed in their browser.
- Cookie Life: The tracking cookie lasts for 30 days. If a customer makes a purchase after this period, or uses a different browser, the sale will not be attributed to you.
- Last Click: We operate on a “last click” basis, meaning the last affiliate link clicked before a purchase receives the commission.
3. Commission Structure
You will earn a commission based on the subtotal of Qualified Sales (excluding shipping, taxes, and discounts). Our commission rates are as follows:
- 30% Commission: On all sales of the Divine Lashes Serum.
- 15% Commission: On all other products across the store.
A sale is considered “qualified” once the order has been successfully processed, shipped, and has passed the 30-day return/holding period.
4. Payout Rules & Minimums
To receive a payout, your account must have erned at least $100 CAD in commissions.
5. Payout Methods (Canada vs. International)
We offer different payout methods based on your location to ensure efficiency:
- Within Canada: Payments are made via Interac e-Transfer. You must provide a valid Canadian email address linked to a bank account that accepts Interac payments.
- Outside Canada (US & International): Payments are made by check.
- Fees: Divine Lashes pays in CAD. Any currency conversion fees or receiving fees charged by your bank or PayPal are the responsibility of the Affiliate.
6. Payout Schedule
To account for potential returns, cancellations, or credit card chargebacks, we implement a one-month holding period.
- Timing: Commissions are paid on the last day of each month.
- Eligibility: Payouts cover referral sales that are at least one month old.
- Example: A payout on March 31 includes commissions earned on or before February 28.
7. Returns, Cancellations & Fraud
- If a customer returns a product, cancels an order, or initiates a chargeback, the corresponding commission will be deducted from your balance.
- We reserve the right to disqualify commissions earned through fraudulent, illegal, or overly aggressive sales/marketing methods.
- Self-Referrals: You may not use your own affiliate link to purchase products for yourself.
8. Promotional Guidelines
We want you to succeed, but your promotions must align with our brand values:
- FTC/Ad Standards Disclosure: You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience (e.g., using #ad, #affiliate, or a clear “I earn a commission” statement).
- Paid Search (PPC): Bidding on “Divine Lashes” or variations of our brand name on Google, Bing, or other search engines is strictly prohibited.
- Spam: Sending unsolicited emails or posting links in a “spammy” manner on social media is grounds for immediate termination.
9. Relationship & Taxes
You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You are responsible for all taxes, insurance, and other costs incurred while performing your duties as an affiliate.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, any legitimate commissions below the $100 threshold will be forfeited. If termination is due to a violation of these terms, all accrued commissions will be forfeited.
