  5. Hi
Can you offer a suggestion for the best vegan and cruelty free eyelash serum? Would love a suggestion for eyebrows too if you have any.
    Thanks
    Kat

    1. Hi Kat,

Cool excellent suggestion. I’ll look into it and add it to my list of recommendations.

  6. I found your review incredibly informative and helpful. I recently purchased a lash and eyebrow serum from prime prometics and immediately experienced darkening of the eyelids and under eye as well as under the brow area! I am from Canada and saw that the Adoreye serum was on one of your lists as not having prostaglandins but there was no review for it. I’d appreciate if you could tell me what you think of it? Thanks so much.

  7. Hello. Thank you for sharing your take on all these products. In your experience, how long do the benefits last? So it takes several weeks or mo this to see the effects of treatment, but how long would you say do the effects remain before you have to start treatment again?

    1. Hi Lori,

I find that the results last for one full growth cycle of my eyelashes. After that, when a new growth cycle begins, my results will fade if I stopped applying the serum.

  8. Hi girl!
    Thank you for your review🙏🏼
I am using elebana, does it contain prostaglandin?
    Thank you in advance

    1. Hi Tal,

I didn’t know this one so I went to check their ingredients on the website but I couldn’t find it so I’m not sure.

  9. Thank you for this article! I loved that you included serums without prostaglandins. I just purchased Lash Luxury! Fingers crossed!

  10. Hello,
You don’t mention the potential side effect “sunken eye” which causes the appearance by shrinking the layers of orbital fat around the eye socket. Has this been studied and is it known which ones do not cause this?

  11. Babelash gave me great lashes! But.. one droopy eye lid and started growing facial hair!! Say NO to any lash serum with prostaglandins.

    1. Hi Gail, Terribly sorry to hear about your experience. I also moved away from prostaglandin-based serums and make it very clear what the potential side effect are in my review.

  12. Hi there!!

I was wondering how about Embryolisse Lashes and Brows Booster??
The website does not mention any prostaglandin analogs or derivates, but i still got scared and discontinued the use! As I am aging (will turn 40 in a couple of months!) I noticed that my undereyes have gotten darker and dryier…… Therefore my panic! Any thoughts on this??
Thank you so much for your advice, and keep up the good work!
    Much Love,
    Coco

    1. Hi Coco,

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I’ve read the ingredients on their website and I also didn’t notice any prostaglandin analogs. Did you symptoms improve once you stopped using the serum?

    2. Thanks. I really appreciate this article, and in particular the warnings about prostaglandins. I used a prescription growth serum for years. One side effect that is quite serious for both prescription serum users and glaucoma patients using that formulation is eyelid PTOSIS, or drooping of the lid, caused by a deficit of acetylcholine transmission in the tiny levator muscle, which opens the eyelid. Readers here might appreciate knowing about this side effect that is as serious and as frequent as the orbital fat changes.

      1. Hi Trudy,

Thank you so much for sharing this very important information with our readers. I really enjoy these kind of comments.
