  1. Hi Asako,
Thank you for sharing great content. What do you think about VieBeauty lash serum. It is sold on Amazon.
I know it is not vegan, because one of the ingredients listed is hydrolyzed silk, but I am not sure if it has Prostaglandin in it. Which one that you know has the best effect in lashes being vegan and Prostaglandin free?
    Thank you in advance!

    1. Hi TW,

I couldn’t find the ingredient list on the official website product page. Maybe I didn’t look at the right place? Please let me know where you found it.

    1. Hi Valeska,

I don’t know if it would but I didn’t see the typical prostaglandin analogs I see in other lash serums in their ingredient list.

  2. Is the darkening of the eye color permanent regarding the potential side effects of a prostaglandin serum?

  3. Hi, I’m using Scorolash. Can you tell me if it contains a prostaglandin analog. It claims to be prostaglandin free, but I’m concerned about the synthetic equivalents.
    Thanks, Llara

    1. On their site, I checked the ingredient list and there doesn’t seem to be a prostaglandin. Moreover, they state prostaglandin-free formulation.

  4. When there are no prostaglandins do they still lengthen the lashes? Or do they just condition them? Do you need the prostaglandins for the serum to actually work?

    1. Hi Helen,

Lash serums without prostaglandins do have other ingredients to help get longer eyelashes. However, there’s definitely less clinical data to back up these claims. So in the end, it’s a risk-reward decision you have to make when choosing a lash serum. Yes, prostaglandins are clinically proven to grow lashes, but they also come with known side effects.

    1. I’m not sure. Their ingredient list was not displayed on their product listing. If you find it, please let me know.

  5. I have been using lash serums for almost 15 years now and have noticed that they all stopped working for me for the last year. Does anyone else have this experience?

    1. Hi Logan, when looking at the ingredients it doesn’t seem like they use prostaglandins. I’ll add it to my list. Thanks!

    1. Hi Sandy,

    1. Thank you for sharing this study. It was a great read. It’s important for consumers to know the potential risks associated with Prostaglandin analogs before making a decision to use a product.

  6. Based on your blog, I ended up purchasing Uklash because you had said it does not contain prostaglandin analogs. But after some use, I noticed a little burning sensation and found it DOES indeed contain Isopropyl cloprostenate. So it may be best to correct this info on your blog.
